If designer in your company is very busy person you can create temporary favicon image by self. I’ve found this free site html-kit.com/favicon/ helped me to create favicons for my sites.
1. Open your site and do screenshot by using PrtScn button on your keyboard
2. Open Photoshop -> New -> cntr+v – you got screenshot in Photoshop
3. Crop logo of the site and save it on your computer
4. Go to html-kit.com/favicon/ -> click on “browse” button -> click on “Generate FavIcone.ico” button
5. When done click on “Download FavIcon Package” button
6. Save zip file on your computer
7. Unszip this file to any folder on your computer
8. Go to admin/build/themes/settings/global in Drupal admin
9. Uncheck “Use the default shortcut icon” check box
10. Click on “browse” button near “Upload icon image” text box
11. Upload image favicon.ico
12. Click on “Save configuration” button
13. Refresh your site and enjoy from work you did:-)

Special characters in Character map
You can’t imagine how many interested things you can do just using regular fonts from your computer
Go to Accessories – > System Tools -> Character map
Choose Webdings font for example
There are so many interested images

How to do transparent image in Fireworks
1. Click on the image and copy it (Cntr+C)
2. Open new empty file (Cntr+N)
3. Click on any empt space
4. Click on Canvas (bottom)
5. Click on Transparent button
6. Export Perview (from File menu)
7. Choose Png 32 from select box
8. Click on Export
