1.Find the target page on your site that you want to start out with – for example: www.domain.com/prod.asp?pr_id=271
2.Set up another page (so far blank) on a permanent URL to map to the first one – for example: www.domain.com/flowers.asp – only use this URL for your PPC campaign.
3.User server side or client side techniques to “drag in” the real target page, to show on the new URL. Server-side this can be done with an include statement. Client side this can be done with a 100% frameset. Very simple and easy.
4.If you need to change the target URL, for example add a tracking parameter to something like this: www.domain.com/prod.asp?pr_id=271&camp=adwords you just make the change to the mapping-URL (the address you “drag in” – not the URL you use in your campaign).
